Whilst Erik was rigging and skinning Gum, I started on another character model. This one is based on a concept Ian McQue did. You can see his concept along with his other work here
Heres my take on it so far, still very early days yet, the bottom half especially. I've also got the gas mask and oxygen tank built, I'll show that in the next image. Working out a new way to strap the gun onto him at the moment, the shoulder strap looks a little weak

man alive, that's some quality modelling , looks awesome...love it, the classic old fashioned looking character with crazy looking gun, great stuff
Lovely stuff. I'm going to have to re-draw the concept to make it look as good as your model now, aren't I?
